After numerous meetings within our club, we have decided to change the structure a little to aid with
the current financial commitments to running a race meeting at the Rockhampton Showgrounds.
These changes will be reviewed during the season, the club has decided on 'now' being the time to
keep this club financially viable for the future...
#Contracted Cars excluded. Eg: Super sedan Series etc.. As you would
know, we hire our venue each race meeting, this is just one avenue of keeping us at the showgrounds.
# Tow money will be payed at a rate of $10 per 100kms one way. Capped at $200.
# Prize money will also be payed on the night, and can be collected from the bar after the race meeting
# Pit Gates open at 1pm on Race Days.
# Nominations taken via the Nominations Mobile via sms or phone call. Nominations close the
Sunday night at 7pm prior to a race meeting. Noms Number: 0400 367 666 For local classes, ie:
Fenders, Stockers, AMCA's, Once nominated, your nomination will carry over to the next race
meeting. If you are not racing, please de-nominate.
# Camping at the Showgrounds is now 'Free' to travelling teams for Friday and Saturday Nights of
race weekends only. Other nights need to go through the Showgrounds office. Please call the
Presidents Phone to provide details if camping on the grounds.
# We take over the Showgrounds on Friday afternoons of Race weekends, and our club members go
through a set up procedure in preparation. Everyone is also invited out to lend a hand if interested in
helping out the club. We also do a clean up procedure on Sundays to which all is welcome to come
along and lend a hand as well. Any extra hands appreciated.
